Hello Sir, I am Suhas from Pune (Age -32, male) I had Dengue fever on 19th June 2018 (My least platelet count was 69000). After that I am not able to recover and from that and from August to till date I have got following symptoms- Symptoms 1) Extreme fatigue and weakness throughout the day inspite of having good appetite, diet,sleep, stool is normal (frequency) and also all blood test (hb, rbc, platelet count, ESR, serum iron, electrolytes, phosphorus, creatinine, blood urea, liver function test, lipase, analyse, C-Reactive protien, tTG, igA) and hormonal test (cortisol, tsh, t4,t3, blood sugar) are normal. 2) Reduction in activities by 85% than the activities when I was completely fine, Not working since last 6 months 3) Not able to do daily activities, I have to drag myself to do basic things, If I try to do activities like normal person, I suddenly get completely exhausted and unquenchable thirst for 5 to 6 days or more. 4) Fatigue aggravates after eating along with dizziness, lightheadedness, increase in heart rate, hands and feet get cold after eating. 5) lethargy after eating, not able to do any activities after eating, if I try to do I face back pain, chest pain, bone pain ,hands and feet get cold. 6) Sudden weight loss of 5 kg in month of August and September (Before dengue weight was 58 kg and now it is 50 kg) 7) I have observed that when I eat light things like rice, dal, juice, soup etc weight is maintained but if I eat solid things like roti there is weight loss and symptoms are more, since last 3 months (Oct to December) I kept my diet light and weight is maintained around 50 kg. 8) lack of concentration and restlessness. 9) Generally feel better at late evening than daytime. Abdomen Ultrasound, Brain MRI, endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, Ultrasound Endoscopy (EUS, gastric emptying scan are normal. Abdomen CT scan findings :- 1) Cholelithiasis (this is asymptomatic) 2) Mild bulky bilateral adrenal glands with no focal lesions. I need your consultation and advice if anything else need to be ruled out and also whether my case can be cured and path ahead for recovery Waiting for your help and reply.
