Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Diabetes mellitus is a hormone (insulin) deficiency disorder, plus there may be resistance to its action due to excess internal body fat and high blood glucose levels. In such a situation right treatment is to use specific drugs that stimulate Beta cells of pancreas to produce necessary insulin and also to reduce insulin resistance, reduce glucose conversion and absorption, all these actions are observed in modern medicines. In ayurvedic drugs, even though a lot of claims are made, there is no clinically proven evidence to support those claims. Still if you want to use those drugs, instead of present treatment, then choice is yours. You may try that. As regards yogasanas, all asanasa are helpfula s an exercise. However, some say Manduk asana helps beter. Again without any confirmed proof. Still if you want to shift to ayurvedic drugs, please consult an ayurvedic expert. All the best. Thanks.
