Hi doc, I am 25 years old & I'm suffering from hypothyroid from last 4 years. I am facing problem of acne n pimple from last 2 or 2 & half years. They are on my face, back, shoulder & arms. Tried many things, medicines, home remedies etc. But all goes in vain. 1 doc asked me to go for PCOD test & ultrasound. My period is normal, but I am in great stress with these dirty acne scars. My skin is dry, not oily. I am suffering from extreme itch on my whole body, especially on legs and back at night. Please Tell me do I really need to undergone with PCOD test or this is only normal skin condition?

Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.
