Can medicines for severe acid reflux (GERD) Cause lack of calcium in body if they are taken for a long time like for 3-4 months. It's been 3-4 months since I have started taking them and I am experiencing muscle and joint cramps and pain (No fever, swelling in joints. I got tested for RA factor, ESR blood test. All are normal. Please tell me if the continuous use of medicine for acid reflux (PPIs) affect your body. Thanks in advance.
