Dear Lybrate user. I understand. Some physical diseases are thought to be prone to be made worse by mental factors such as stress and anxiety. At any given time, a person's mental state can affect the degree of severity of a physical disease. Physical symptoms that are caused by mental factors are also called somatization or somatoform disorders. I think your problem is PSYCHOSOMATIC PROBLEM. I suggest online counseling and psychotherapy. As your rightly said you have to go for traction and also you can do IFT. Please consult the near by therapist for quick relief. Since you have pain for more than 10 years it is suggestible to go for cervical muscle strengthening exercises.
A good way to diffuse general body pains:
1.take a long hot bath in water in which a few cups of Epsom salts have been added.
