I am 29 years old my weight is 116 kg height 5'11. I am suffering from depression from 2011 till date m taking medicine for depression I consultant with the psychiatrist too. My confidence is totally down, I always think about my health and always negative think in my mind. Hello Lybrate user I can understand your concern. Depression includes low mood, negative thoughts (about self, world or other), disturbed sleep, thought process and appetite. It might also lead to several fears due to high negative feelings. However all these symptoms need to be assessed in details to understand the causal factors behind these and then plan course of treatment. These could be due to some traumatic/stressful events in past that one might not be able to overcome, low stress tolerance, poor coping mechanism, high emotional sensitivity etc. Try consulting a clinical psychologist for regular counselling sessions. Try sharing your thoughts and feelings with someone close, schedule your day and try to keep oneself busy, maintaining regular exercising etc would be beneficial.
