Hi, I am 8 months pregnant. Since three days I am having excruciating pain in my tooth which has a cavity ,root canaled it long back, the tooth has broken but the root is there. Gums are swollen too. I couldn't bear the pain and visited dentist who prescribed O2 antibiotic for 5 days and ketarol on sos basis. Also betadine mouthwash for relief. He said it is due to infection in that tooth. I have my visit to the gynecologist next week and she isn't reachable at the moment. So my question is, are all the medicines safe to take at this moment? Because the pain is unbearable and I am worried about my baby at the same time. Please help.
