I am suffering from gerd. Phlegm, yellow, thick, sticky, sometimes with blood coming out frequently. After eating mainly. Lungs, clear but breathing problem is there. I am 70 years old. It is a chronic problem. Whatever I eat, I suffer. Do not want to live. Please suggest me.

Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 3. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 4. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 5. Maintain active life style 6. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods 7.Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 8. Drink lot of water. 9. Take half cup of cold milk when you feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, Swimming, gymming, walking etc.

Avoid any fast food, fried food and spicy food. 2. Take light dinner 2 hrs before bed. 3. Increase fluid intake. 4. Stop taking tea, coffee, cold drinks. 5. Do at least 1/2 he light exercise, yoga and deep breathing. 6. Take lots of salad, vegetables and fruit. 7. Avoid taking sugar and sweetened products. 8. Take good sleep.
