My son who has completed 4 months since 12/Sept/2018 was asked to give a health mix in addition to regular feed in day time once. When we tried without sugar he did not like it and refused to eat. So we added some jaggery to make it edible and he likes it. Can we provide jaggery along the mix as it was suggested by our nutritionist or which month we can start or any equal supplement to add for making the health mix edible.

Upto 6 month only breastfeed. It will be more beneficial.

You can give it only if the mother's milk is not sufficient ( usually up to six months there is no need to give any thing external than mother's milk ). You can also give readymade formula milk ( meant for under six months age ). You have to discuss all these aspects with your doctor and also observe the baby response to the external feed. If the baby is active and takes the breast milk naturally then nothing should worry you.

Hi sir, This is suggested now a days that no sugar and no salt should be good to the infants up to the age of three years. So nothing sweet is required to be mix.
