Hi sir ,I had a needle prick while drawing blood from patient and I'm a medical student and I got tested for hiv, hbsag, hcv and the results were negative after 6 months of exposure. Do hcv co infection delays the window period of hiv as I read in some journal. All the test I took was in lab 3rd generation test. Do hcv delays hiv seroconversion. Do you think any test is needed. Please help me sir I'm in final year can't study because of this incident. Please explain me in detail sir. Are my test results are conclusive.
