I play football on astro turf on alternate days. Sometimes while turning/kicking the ball ,something feels stuck in my knee .I feel like there is a rod in my knee I cannot move freely .This happens only sometimes .Does not happen daily. What could probably be the reason? Also what should I do to avoid exacerbating the condition. Ps I don't feel comfortable wearing knee caps.
