80 years old active male presenting with excruciating pain, for approximately 3 weeks, that radiates from the left shoulder towards the shoulder blade, shoulder joint and arm (especially lower arm). Feels comparatively better when lying down but flares up within moments of sitting or standing. Already completed courses of Myotop SR 450 (for 6 days) followed by Hifenac Mr. (for 5 days) but to no avail. ECG stands normal and XRay suggests Cervical Spondylosis (with findings such as- Disc space reduced at C6-C7 levels, Osteophyte are seen at the vertebral bodies of C3 to C7 and Curvature is partially lost). Takes regular medicines for BP (Stamlo 5) and Thyroid (Eltroxin 50 mcg) as well as Milk of Magnesia (for years now due to chronic and severe constipation since childhood). Pls help.
