Hello, I am a 22 year old girl, I am having white curd like discharge, vaginal itching and pain. I thought I had a fungal infection, so I used garlic as a natural treatment, it decreased but then increased. It?s 5 days almost. I used a hair removal cream today and now it?s burning very badly. I don?t what to do whom to share with. My outer genital, eg mons pubis, labia majora Nd minors are also aching and lower thighs are itching. please provide me a solution.

Hello- There are some other vaginal infections that may also cause abnormal discharge. One that comes to mind known to cause a thick, white, chunky discharge (like a cottage cheese) is yeast infection. Other symptoms of a yeast infection are intense itching, swelling and pain around and outside of the vagina, or both. Boric acid is a powerful antiseptic that some women claim is useful for treating yeast infections that are resistant to other remedies. According to a 2009 study, topical boric acid showed encouraging results as a treatment for vaginal infections. Some health websites claim boric acid vaginal suppositories may also be effective in treating vaginal yeast infections. Always mix boric acid with water before applying it to your vagina or vulva area.
