In my 2.5 year old daughter body structure I noticed that her whole body is skinny but her stomach is elevated. I have visited a pediatrician he advised that it may be due to wheat allergy and advised ttg test and also tsh test for thyroid and reports are negative in both the tests where ttg is 7.87 and tsh is 3.19 ,then he told it may be due to vitamin deficiency so he prescribed some tonics and vitamin d and calcium syrup and advise to come after a week but I don't want to visit him again as I am not satisfied with his prescription and need expert opinion.

Hi, A child?s stomach changes position naturally as they grow. When they are infants, as well as during the early portion of toddlerhood. Sometimes, a toddler has a relatively large liver compared to the rest of their body. This will take up more space in there, and it will add to the fat belly appearance until they grow into this important organ. Or could also be a bloating problem. Watch for any discomfort that coincides with the exaggerated belly. This could be the result of constipation or some type of food intolerance. Children who are lactose intolerant will experience diarrhea and cramps in addition to the bloating. In this case the excessive protrusion will appear flatter within a couple of weeks. They could also be experiencing a bloating problem. Watch for any discomfort that coincides with the exaggerated belly. This could be the result of constipation or some type of food intolerance.
