I have a desk job suddenly from one month I have pain in my back & when I stand it pains for a while and I could not stand straight for a while. Pls suggest what can be done I have started trying yoga for the same.

As you have mentioned you are having problems in standing because of your backache so you should consult a doctor asap and with a few investigations the cause can be assessed and it can be easily treated. You can keep the following in mind for an overall good health. Try to maintain a proper posture while sitting, give best possible support to your lower back and do not bend down your neck too much and for too long. Take hourly breaks. Get up from your desk and go for a quick walk, just move. Avoid using Escalators and Elevators. Stretch or move in your place. Stretching is best for relaxing your muscles and removing any kind of stiffness. Keep yourself well hydrated, have plenty of water. Start having green tea or herbal tea. Sleep 6 to 8 hours. It's good that you have started with Yoga that will certainly help you out.
