After two to three weeks of normal pregnancy of my wife, we observed that stool is coming from her vagina. We consult gynecologist and she suggested that to do kegel exercise and will cure automatically. Now it's 1 year after her pregnancy, she got loose motion and she is saying stool is came from her vagina and she noticed that in this period whenever she got loose motion stool is coming from vagina. Please suggest me what will be the issue. Which specialist I need to consult. Urologist?

You should probably consult another Gynaecologist for your trouble to get her examined. Urologists do not deal with female urethra or genital parts.

Injury during childbirth are the most common cause behind the rectovaginal fistula formation (passage developed between rectum and vagina that can interchange the gas and stool evacuation from vagina) It is important to keep hygiene regularly and avoid urinary tract infection/ diarrhoea. Kindly get an anorectal or transvaginal ultrasound done. Keep the area dry to prevent irritation in vagina and rectum. Homoeopathic medicines should be taken to prevent further damage and controlling the symptoms. You must consult another gynaecologist for examination and hence a better plan of treatment of this case.
