Suggest me regarding the food which I have to omit and add for hypothyroidism having the tsh level of 11.22.

Hello, Thanks for the query. In hypothyroidism foods to be avoided are soy beans and soy containing products. Plus one should avoid bakery items, pastries, foods made from maida. Plus increase the consumption of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Avoid colas. Most important is to maintain TSH level around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that all the symptoms are in check. Thanks.
