In hypothyroidism foods to be avoided are soy beans and soy containing products. Plus one should avoid bakery items, pastries, foods made from maida. Plus increase the consumption of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Avoid colas. Most important is to maintain TSH level around 3 to 4 mU/L, at that all the symptoms are in check. Thanks.
