Hello, Can I get HIV if the lancet in the trash bag while giving the trash collectors hit him as it was in the bottom of plastic bag and then I realised there were some important papers which I threw in the bag and took them back from him and at that time, I got scratched by lancet.Please help me, I am really scared if it scratched the trash collector person and then me. Will I get HIV? Please help me.

AS the lancet was in outside atmosphere if any HIV was present at all, it could not survive and infect you . You can relax and you will not get infected
