I was working with N.G.O. For underprivileged children for last one year. Yesterday I came to know one of the children I was interacting with is hiv positive and under treatment. Some more may be suffering. I was not told about this earlier which has put me in immense worry. Whether I should get myself checked .What health hazards I pose if I decide to continue working with them?

If you follow the prescribed universal precautions when dealing with a HIV positive patient then you need not worry. But if you fail to follow then get yourself tested for the infection. For detailed information kindly consult a doctor via online or in person. Thanks.
