I have 21 months baby girl. My weight was 65 kg at time of conceiving but now after caesarian delivery my weight has gone drastically to 72 kgs and it won't come down. I have thyroid too and take 50 mcg thyroxine daily. I had multiple ovaries problem due to which my periods were irregular for almost 6-8 years. Can you suggest me better way to reduce this body weight?

At the foremost you should get your thyroid levels checked once in 3 month to ensure that you are taking the right dose of Thyroxine. This could be one of the major reasons preventing weight loss. It is known that hypothyroidism slows down the metabolism. Also restricted activity after the caesarean could add to your problem of not losing weight and gaining weight. I think rechecking your thyroid levels and Brisk walk for an hour everyday with a little control on your diet can help you get back to normal weight. Don't get stressed and enjoy your motherhood.
