Hi lybrate-user Ovaries being polycystic in scan does not mean you have PCOD/PCOS. For a diagnosis of PCOS to be made, you need to have irregular periods, hair growth in face and/or body, acne/too much pimples, along with polycystic and large ovaries on scan. Many women are diagnosed and treated for PCOS with simply scan findings and this simply adds to the stress. Do not worry if only scan findings say polycystic ovaries without the other symptoms. You are fine. Be normal. If there are any other symptoms or queries do message me. Would like to know why the scan was taken in the first place. Take care.
