I was diagnosed with ocd and depressive traits. I used to be anxious because of the mood disorders I have met so far. I took flunil 60 mg and it has been 3 months since I started taking it. The irony is I lost my ocd; my anxiety and I think I am becoming emotionally numb. I no longer feel the warmth of love, excitement of attraction. I don't feel sad at upsetting situations. I lost my motivation and drive to settle in a higher position in life. Sometimes I feel like its better before to be a human than to be a zombie now. Recently I have tapered my dose to 40 mg under my docs supervision. I found many therapies and tools like yoga to be more effective than medication. Now I am determined to exercise regularly, do yoga, sing songs, take stairs, avoid caffeine, meditate, take herbal supplements, avoid caffeine and what not! Now I got a clearer view of my problem and better strategies to cope with it. Will it be safe to taper on my meds gradually now? I have been on escitalopram before for just 3 months.

Tapering of medication solely depends on the symptomatic improvement. Ensure all changes in medication are done only with doctor's approval. Do not make any modifications on your own. Continue all other recover activities.
