I am 56 years of age suffering from high bp of 140/90 for which my cardiologist has prescribed telma h 80 in the morning and prolomet xl 50 in the night. Again my neurosurgeon has prescribed betacap tr 40 one in the morning and one at night for tremors of both hands. Please advice if it is safe to take.

Continue with telma h & BETACAP TR as suggested by your neurosurgeon and stop prolomet xl at night cuz taking both betacap & prolomet will lead excessive heart rate reduction. And prolomet will not be very effective for tremors while betcap will be effctive for tremors as well as heart rate & BP control. Please inform your cardiologist that you are taking betacap tr.
