Hi sir, My baby Suffering hard stools we are giving only Lactogen 2 Formula Milk 6 times per day and Dal Pani Thats it. Please suggest what to do?

Hi lybrate-user, it also depends how much lactogen 2 formula milk & dal pani you are giving your baby because both are proteins high dosage can give hard stools & constipation. Also do give baby little little water after every hour it will help stools to move. Reduce the quantity of lactogen & dal pani see how your baby is doing then. If it still persist visit child specialist.

Since you are giving Lactogen 2 to your baby, he might be more than 6 mth old. Apart from giving milk, shift to complimentary fine rich diet the your baby. Start giving khichdi, Dalia,mashed fruits and vegetables etc for better digestion and relief from constipation.
