Hello. My mom is 57 years old. She has high BP since last 2 years. However, she suddenly started feeling dizzy last month. Post all her tests, the doctors said that it was due to high BP (200/95) on an avg. Now it's about 130/80. However, one thing that has continued from then and now is a pain in the back part of the neck/nerves. Acc to her she felt dizzy due to this and not BP. Anyways, the pain in the back of the neck/nerves exist coz of which she feels that she will have dizziness. What doctor do I consult? A physiotherapist or a neurologist or somebody else?

It has to be ruled out wether it is due to cervical spondylosis. Your doctor would be able to help you by taking a detailed history and some tests like X -ray, MRI scan if required. Let the doctor also consider other factors by doing a detailed clinical examination.
