I am 63 years old female. I am suffering from anxiety, depression, panic attack ,OCD for last one and half months. I am under treatment of a psychiatrist who prescribed pexep cr 37.5 (paroxetine) and clonil 25 mg both I take at night and modalert 100 mg after breakfast. Now I am feeling slightly better. Now my question is above mentioned medicines are going to help me or not and how long treatment will continue. Due to physical illness I can't go for psychotherapy. Other than medicine what can I do myself at home.

Yes the medicines will help you and you are getting better as you yourself said. These medications should continue for at least 1 to 2 years after complete recovery. Don't stop them without consulting your Psychiatrist. A home you can practice breathing exercises and learn relaxation techniques from the internet and do them at home. Am sure all this along with the medication you'll be fine very soon.
