I am 20 year old male. One month ago I fell down while washing my clothes and sprained my wrist. I did x-ray of my wrist and there was no fracture. Then the doc gave me some medicines and an ointment gel and crepe bandage. The pain somehow reduced but that too took a long time i.e, 2-3 weeks. But from past 1 week despite of doing any heavy work with my wrist. It is paining heavily. Now what to do? In night I can't sleep because of that pain. Also there is no swell.

Please keep ice which will reduce the inflammation immediately. Give rest to the hand. Apply any anti inflammatory gel or iodex which will help you to get relived from the pain. Give rest to the area. Then see how it is, if pain doesn't get subsided and also the swelling doesn't drain then you have to take an xray by either consulting a physiotherapist in person or any other orthopaedician. It must be due to pressure on one side of the body and due to your bad posture in lying. Pour hot water while taking bath which will help you to get relieved from pain.
