My sister had hypothyroidism she got treated with ayurvedic medicine and cured before three years. And she stopped medicine from 1 year. Recent blood report show's hyperthyroidism her T4 level is more .Is this because of Ayurvedic medicine?

Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. As far as I am aware, there is no treatment for hypothyroidism other than taking adequate amount of Levothyroxine every day. Most often it has to be for lifetime.
