It is a viral disease it is transmitted by animal bite like dog. It leads to encepha?omyeilit�s symptoms are- swelling of brain and spinal cord results 1. Frequent headache 2. Nausea 3. Stomach pain 4. Muscular cramps 5. Drowsiness 6. Insomnia 7. Fever 8. Anxiety 9. Confusion 10. Hallucination 11. Excess salivation 12. Difficulty in swallowing 13. Hydrphobia (fear from water) treatment- 1. Wash the wound with soap and running water for 1/2 hour immediately after bite 2. Do not stich or close the wound 3. Give anti rabic vaccine as soon as possible if animal can not be watched if you can watch the animal then wach the animal for 10 days if animal behaviour is normal then you can avoid vaccination if behaviour of animal is abnormal like sluggish natire or aggresive nature then immidiatly vaccinate. 4. Vaccinate pet dog 5. Visit nearest hospital if fail to vaccinate and above symptoms appear because symptoms may appear late.
