Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The so called Transfer factors are supposed to be useful in increasing the immunity. However, there is no clinically proven benefit. These are actually marketed as dietary supplement products. (US FDA has given approval as dietary supplements). Therefore, it is difficult to give any opinion. Thanks.

You can try them but do not expect much from them. There are no scientific studies done to substantiate the effectivness of the products. The main focus still remains the same - eating a healthy and balanced diet (based on the calorie need) and exercising (include Yoga) everyday and taking proper rest and keeping the mind pleasent will together lead to general well-being and effective control of diabetes and hypertension. Motivating the patient to lead a normal life and be active (with social interaction) can be very productive. Make the patient self efficient by educating and inspiring to take responsibility of health.
