I am freaking out and glad I just found this website so that I can get an opinion from an expert. I had unprotected vaginal sex with I female (i am a 29 year old male) who I found out 8 months after the event that she is indeed positive. Since then I have taken the following tests: 8 months post exposure - hiv western blot test it is negative 11 months post exposure 10 times hiv tridot test it is non reactive 1 year post exposer elisa for hiv, hbsag,hcv, vdrl all are negative. 1 year post exposure hiv rna pcr qualitative test not detected. 13 months post exposure hiv 4th generation alere combo my and my wife test both are negative. 14 month post exposure hiv elisa include hepatitis all are negative. 15 months post exposure rna pcr qualitative test not detected. Till today hiv tridot test also non reactive. It is important to mention I have had symptoms which I have only ankle joint pain and neck pain only. I have the following questions: 1. Can I be 100% sure I do NOT have HIV? 2. One doctor told me hiv ofter 5 or 10 years becom positive it is true? 3. Since I have confirmed my partner was infected, or is it my last test at 15 month conclusive?
