Hi. 1. Please note that it is the complete acl tear with symptoms of instability which require surgery. Partial acl tear can be very well treated without surgery. Also, if you don't want to do sports activities then you might consider not to go for surgery. It's good that you don't have instability on Uneven surfaces. But it is more important that pivoting action on your knee should not cause any symptoms. 2. If you don't have any instability then no need for knee Brace. As it will further weaken your Quadriceps muscles. 3. Maintenance in the form of Quadriceps strengthening, avoid pivoting action and if instability symptoms start later then don't ignore. 4. Quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercises should be 3 times a day with repetition of 30. More you do better for you. Tc
