I have rheumatoid arthritis. I take medication regularly sulfasaraz saaz tablet. Took depamedrol injection 2 weeks back. Now my pain is much low. I do exercise regularly. My haemoglobin count is low 8.84 an esr high 80 mm. What should I eat? Is blood transfusion needed? Or taking iron tablet can help. Please reply.

For hemoglobin, you can try injection ferritin. One injection raises Hb% by 2-2.5 GM/DL. Try eating green and leafy vegetables, fruits, fish and chicken, beetroot. Iron tablets will also help in addition to one ferritin. Last option is blood transfusion.
