Sir my mother had injured her knee in 2014 and got treated with medicine by an orthopedic and was cured but now in 2018 she was having some stiffness& swelling and pain for which we took her to a doctor and he said that it's just because of season and recommend kneecap and medicine to reduce swelling but 1 day after as she was sleeping and had got sever knee pain at midnight and black coloured knee, so next day we again took her to doctor and this time he performed x-ray (which came normal) and blood test in which ESR and C Reactive protein was high and said that it's some kind of knee infection and recommend antibiotics for 5 days ,Now my mother is not having pain but she feels stiffness and little pain in her knee and thigh area what should I do now.
