I drink too much water and therefore I go to bathroom more oftenly. Is it right for me? Or should I lessen my water intake.

Dear lybrateuser, - You can drink water as per your requirement depending on exercise & environmental temperature - spread your intake over the day, to avoid frequent washroom visits sip water at regular intervals instead of drinking the whole glass at a time - also see that you don't partake more than 2-3 cups of tea, coffee in a day as the caffeine content in it also acts as a mild diuretic increasing the urine output.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Excess water drinking will definitely increase ones visits to toilet. Which is absolutely normal. But some times in unrecognised diabetes a person is likely to get more urination, increased amount of thirst, increased hunger, tired feeling plus there may be unexplained weight loss. It is better for you to get your blood glucose tested, just to rule out the possibility of diabetes. Thanks.
