Hai Doc, I smoke daily 1 cigarette occasionally 3-5 a day. What can I do for quite smoking.

Dear lybrateuser, - Decide a date when you will completely stop smoking, remove all cigarettes, lighter etc from your place, also inform your family & friends who should not coax you to have one - to reduce the urge keep your mind busy with your job, studies, hobby, do regular exercise drink a glass of water or go out for a walk, if still you can't get over the urge then chew a nicotene gum 2-3 times a day & gradually stop it after some days - it is your willpower & determination only which will help stop your habit.
