It is recommended to breast fed baby till 6 month of age. After 6 months you can start baby on weaning diet. Amul spray is not a good choice. Either you can give him formula milk or Buffalo milk without dilution. After a month start baby on weaning diet. For weaning formulation you can take help from your Paediatrician.

It is a real dilemma as to what feed to give to the baby. If you have sufficient breast milk, the best option is to express the milk in small stainless steel dabbis or containers and keep it in the fridge. The milk may be warmed by putting the container in hot water. The care taker can then feed this to the baby while you are away. As the baby is already 5 months, you can plan to give early complementary feeds by way of mashed banana, vege or dal soup, or ready to use baby cereal (rice based). If not available, you can give one or two top feeds. You can do vigorous breast feeding once you come home. This way you can avoid giving excessive top feeds. All commercial milks are expensive and if cost is an issue, you can give standard dairy milk (undiluted and unsweetened) to the baby using Katori and Spoon.
