I was at a restaurant, and the waiter had cuts on his arms that were scabbed and not actively bleeding as I could see. He brought the plates, and then I touched the plates. I never saw any visible blood on the plates or my hand. An hour later I touched a hangnail on my finger, which hurt when I touched but was not visibly bleeding. However, it did sting in the slightest way when I put hand sanitizer on it. Can I get hep C or HIV from this?
