I have pain at the base of my tail bone when I sit for long. Sometimes there's itching between buttocks and there's a rash which takes 2-3 days to heal with antiseptic cream. There is also a small dip at the top of my buttocks. Is it pilonidal sinus or something else as there is no cyst formation .and no hair on that part. Also the pain is not at the surface but comes from deep within and it's more like a pain in the bone. I do not have problem standing or while sitting in a chair .the pain is only there when am sitting cross legged on the floor or some other surface where the whole pressure is on my bottom. Kindly suggest the reason of my pain and what should I do for it.

It should be pilonidal sinus and I will suggest you to meet a general surgeon and if necessary get it operated.
