He is 21 year old and going to gym. He wants to use whey protein as suggested by gym trainer. I want to ask that whey protein is good to take or it has some side effect. It should be taken or not.and what can he do for increasing muscle.

First of all try to give him protein from diet before starting whey. Include 3-4 servings of protein food like dals, legumes, pulses, nuts, milk and paneer and non veg foods if you are a non vegetarian. Increase the intake of fruits and vegetables to provide more fibre and micro nutrients to build muscle.
