I have taken unani medicine for ibs. It is fine now but from past 2 months I feel nausea whole day. I have fatty liver infiltration in reports and High Total Cholesterol of 282. Bad cholesterol 188.6 and Good Cholesterol 41. Triglyceride is also high. Is this The cause of nausea. I HAVE TAKEN RANTAC D AND OMEZ but this is not going. Is this because of HIGH cholesterol and I measures bp as 130/90. Can anyone tell when it will go or will it take lifelong.

1) High cholesterol is not the cause of nausea. High cholesterol occurs due to unhealthy lifestyle habits and some people are genetically pre-disposed as well. You should change your lifestyle habits like daily 40 mins of exercise, eating healthy (take a detailed diet consult with a dietitian), quit smoking and drinking and re-check cholesterol after 6 weeks, if still high you may need low dose medication. Also get a baseline Random blood sugar, echo and ecg done since your LDL is high. 2) Kindly consult a gastroenterologist for your nausea and follow their advice.
