Hence first and foremost is to achieve an early glucose control with FBG < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. So there is a need for taking appropriate medication. Secondly maintain a normal weight, with regular exercise and restricted diet intake. You should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, foods made from maida.
