Hello sir, I'm PRAVEEN '24' (CHENNAI) I'm a Type 1 diabetics Patient. What exercise for Type 1 diabetics. What are the best foods for type 1. I'm going Gym regularly. How shall I improve my weight. 5 month ago very severe weight loss. I have reduced 12 kg. 73 kg to 61 After that now am 67 kg. I'm taking insulin regularly. I took hba1c test now report says '7.9' fair normal. Give me some tips.

When blood glucose is not well controlled, there is a considerable loss of glucose through the urine as kidneys are unable to retain excess glucose that reaches there. Hence primary need is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with FBG < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. That will help in rebuilding the muscle strength and overall weight. Apart from taking healthy diet, your protein intake should be a bit more with regular gym work. You can add 2 to 3 eggs a day. Thanks.
