Dear doctor I have been suffering from OCD from 4-5 year. I have been diagnosed by a doctor. B taking flunil 20 mg with pan 40. But 3 year ago I quit my medicine as I conceived my kid. Again I am feeling the same symptoms repetitive thought. Washing my hand clothing and kid. Again I started flunil 20 mg but this time I am feeling pinching pain in my upper abdomen. .what should I do. please help me.

Flunil (fluoxetine) is a good medicine for treatment of OCD. Usual dosage for OCD is 40-80 mg/day. Some people have gastric irritation with it, and the upper abdominal pain may be because of it. Such pain usually is relieved by taking Antacids. There are some other medications available for OCD which may not cause gastric irritation. You should discuss this with your Psychiatrist who will guide you further.
