That time bp was 140/70 mm Hg, HR 103/min, hemoglobin A1c was 7.3, glucose fasting was 115 and glucose pp was 162. Today we have visited general physician and Bp was 167/110 and pulse 118. He has suggested medicines Clonazepam 0.25 mg (1 after food in night), Torsemide 5 mg (1 after food in morning), Nurokind od (1 after food in morning) and esomeprazole 40 mg (1-1 before food morning and night) for 20 days. Is this medicine safe for him because on internet clonazepam was showing very negative side effe t. He also takes 1 table montair fx for skin itching Related problem. He also don't want to take medicine instead want to improve by changing life style. How much serious is this problem and give more suggestions for same?

Your husband is a Diabetic. He can control his blood sugars with walking and exercise and a good diet control. He should avoid sweets, sugar in tea and coffee and fried food. His BP would get under control mostly with diabetic control. Please review in 2 weeks with a FBS, PP BS.
