Am 32 years old, had Pulmonary Embolism two years back, now I am off of blood thinners since six months. I am interested in muscle building/body building so just started working out in gym, I was wondering when can I start taking supplements, such as whey protein, creatine or any other. Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for the query. Since you have just started working out your nutrient needs are not very high esp in terms of protein. Just because you started gyming does not justify high protein intake or creatine in take. First start of with good healthy diet. Get your requirements and diet and workout assessed before starting any supplement. Usually people get attracted to all these supplements as they are looking for a miraculous change and most often instructors tend to want to sell a product. Please don't fall in such traps and get professional help for your diet needs.
