Hi. Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that supplements or medication are taken only if you are deficient in a nutrient or your requirement is high or you have a medical condition that calls for the supplementation. So, don't goggle medicate yourself. Get yourself assessed by a doctor or Dietician and see if you need supplementation.

Sir I am 23 years old and I have belly. I try crunches and walking to reduce it but it can't so please give me diet and some list of exercises to reduce belly within 1 year.

Hye. Thank you for your query. The pinchable fat you see is belly fat, also known as subcutaneous fat which increases due to bad food habits and sedentary lifestyle. While you can accumulate this type of fat by eating more calories than your body burns, there's a genetic and hormonal connection as well. Too much fat is harmful for the body. A diet filled with refined carbs, such as white bread packaged foods and junk, snack foods, is associated with increased subcutaneous belly fat. Thirty minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise -- like a fast-paced walk or low-impact aerobics -- most days of the week helps you lose the belly flab. Alos, don't forget strength-training. You can't spot reduce, but you can tone and tighten your belly. While crunches and planks can help the abdominal area, include exercises that work all your major muscles -- arms, back, shoulders, glutes and legs is import for balance. Making the right food choices can also help you lose subcutaneous fat. Just cutting down food intake randomly or crashing diet is not going to solve the problem. Be sensible with food intake. Limit your intake of the refined carbs linked to belly fat. So, skip the white bread, packaged cereals, sugary cereals, biscuits, sweets and soda, and, instead, eat more whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Enjoy healthy sources of protein such as poultry, lean beef, fish, eggs, soy, beans, low-fat dairy, and fats such as vegetable oil, nuts and seeds. Eating healthy foods is critical to reduce belly fats.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

When you decide to work on your health- rememeber- it's not just about weight loss or lowering blood sugar or letting go of the post pregnancy weight but it's about a whole "transformation".

  • It's transformation in your thinking, in your relationship to food, in your trust in yourself and in your choice to improve your whole lifestyle.
  • When you have achieved your goal, learn to accept the different new you and love the transformation. Let your new self be a reminder that every transformation takes work, effort, patience, and continued motivation and discipline to become your best 'You'. 
  • Know, that this transformation is also a reminder that nothing lasts forever. A complacent- Let it go attitude, loss of motivation or a single slip that's turned into a daily affair of giving in to temptation are all ways to push you back where you started.
  • Remind yourself what you were or how you felt before you started and how you are now - the best of 'You'.
  • Remind yourself that it didn't happen overnight. 
  • Remind yourself that you did not attempt to take the seemingly easy road to your destination.
  • And most of all remind yourself how it may have not been easy...but it has been totally worth it.

Hi. Thanks for the query. It's an absolutely deficient diet or meal. You may not gain weight initially but in the long run you will because you are causing a deficiency to happen and you will also cause the metabolism to lower and muscle mass to break down. If you want to lose weight please eat right and don't randomly go for such crash diets.

HI. thanks for the query. Foods will always respond in the way you eat them and the time you eat them. So just having so called low calorie foods will not help lose healthy weight. If eaten in the wrong qmounts and at the wrong time even the low calorie foods will cause weight gain.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Like any too good to be true fat burner, these are just tall claims made. Most fat burners in my experience have majorly not worked. Most people take it as a “trial and error” product meaning that they only find out that most often it's not really effective after trying it. Keep in mind that some fat burners or pills have no scientific evidence or testimonials. Most people have experienced little or no difference at all after using a fat burner. Like any fat burner there are chances of side effects due to poor nutrition. Even if you do lose weight it's almost loss of muscle mass and not so much of fats, which could easily show as a weight loss on the weighing scale. You are young. Give your body a chance to lose weight by natural and healthy ways.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite. Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.
