Hi doctor, I am 12 weeks pregnant. I have allergy and asthma problem. I am getting cold frequently along with eye itchiness and redness. I am unable to bear it. My doctor prescribed citrizen tablets. I am afraid to take that tab. Yesterday I take the tablet. Is that ok to take that during pregnancy? I am so worried. Please suggest me.

cetirizine is the only drug available for allergic reactions. No harm in taking during pregnancy. adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any trimester.
