Diet Changes to Improve Metabolism

I am Dr.Kumar. Basically I brought this first time in India—diet as a therapy, and the title goes as appropriate diet therapy centers. We got our main office at Dadar and along with that we got about 18 centers across India. This is basically, we are seeing for years together people are suffering from most of the metabolic disorders and for that we are trying allopath, homoeopath, ayurveda, but still we are not fining any solution for acidity. So we are seeing, because it is not a disease, then it has something related to the cell, because as you know the cell become a tissue, tissue become an organ, organ becomes a system, and system becomes a body, so basically it is a degeneration at the cellular level.

So what we are trying to do with our diet therapy we are changing the diet in a scientific manner because the diet we take in India is basically a cultural diet , emotional diet, traditional diet. But our body works on a scientific principal of the PH which is basically an alkaline PH. But unfortunatelhy the food we take in India are acidic in nature. And they are responsible for destruction at the cellular level. So by changing diet we stop further damage at organic level and then we try to revive those cells by giving very specific ingredients derived from the food and that’s why we are able to find a solution.

We have been very successful stopping knee replacement, there is no need of going in to further surgery. 2nd diabetes, especially diabetes 2 is totally reversible with us. Then dialysis process is reversible, now we remove blockages without angioplasty bypass. And we are very successful in finding a solution for cancer at all stages. So this is the first time we have brought this in India and we are very very successful.

Black Tea - 6 Reasons Why It Is Healthy For You!

Want to stay healthy all your life? If yes, start your day with a cup of black tea. Discovered in China about 4000 years back, it is today the most widely consumed beverage. The health benefits of black tea are unlimited. It has antioxidants and other phytonutrients that help flush out toxins from the body. This variety of tea has a strong flavor and is more oxidized than other tea leaves. The name is attributed to the tea’s dark color. While the caffeine content of black tea is a bit of a concern to few, the benefits outdo the disadvantages.

  1. Cardiovascular benefits: Regular consumption of black tea greatly mitigates the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Antioxidants like flavonoids can counter the oxidation of cholesterol. Furthermore, it prevents damage to the artery walls and blood stream. Studies have proved that consumption of black tea can reverse a coronary condition known as the endothelial vasomotor dysfunction. Black tea contains manganese and polyphenols which in turn helps the cardiac muscle to function well and reduce blood clots.
  2. Prevention of cancer: The polyphenol content in black tea is a potential carcinogen blocker for the body. It is believed to be capable of preventing cancers such as prostate, lung, bladder and breast. Another component present black tea known as the TF-2 is responsible for apoptosis. It can also play a major role in suppressing malignant tumors.
  3. Beneficial to the immune system: Black tea contains a component known as the “tannins” that helps the immune system to counter viruses such as hepatitis, flu, influenza etc. Tannin can also suppress tumor formation. 3-4 cups of black tea a day can help to lower the inflammation and eradicate unwanted pathogen in the body.
  4. Fight free radical: Too much of free radicals in the body can cause serious diseases such as cancer, atherosclerosis and blood clots. This is primarily caused by unhealthy consumption of food. Black tea contains antioxidants that are helpful in eliminating the free radicals and help the body refrain from cardiovascular and Alzheimer’s disease. Black tea accompanies with lemon can do wonders for the body.
  5. Stimulate the nervous system and the brain: Compared to a cup of coffee, black tea contains a much lower portion of caffeine that is helpful in mental alertness. This, however, doesn’t stimulate the heart. L-theanine, the amino acid found in black tea helps to focus keep the concentration going for a longer duration. Furthermore, consumption of 3-4 cups of black tea a day reduces cortisol in the body that in turn reduces the stress. Black tea is also reportedly a good safeguard against the Parkinson’s disease.
  6. The digestive tract: Black tea goes a long way in helping the body to digest well. The tannins present in the black tea combat the intestinal and gastric illnesses with a therapeutic effect on them. Black tea is also capable of decreasing the activity of the intestine. They possess an anti-diarrhoea effect on the body. 2 cups of black tea do the trick in this case.

10 Must Have Foods For A Beautiful Skin!

Eating right not only keeps you healthy but can also make you look prettier and give you clearer skin. Given that the skin is the largest organ in the human body, it is where deficiencies are most noticeable. Here are a few foods that can enhance your looks.

  1. Yogurt: Yogurt is packed with proteins and amino acids that help repair skin cells and keep your skin looking fresh. Amino acids also help banish dark circles that may appear after a long night.
  2. Kidney beans: Kidney beans and legumes are packed with proteins that help repair cell damage caused by free radicals. They also help break down amino acids that can then boost collagen production and help in the repair and regeneration of skin cells.
  3. Pomegranates: These fruits are rich sources of anti-oxidants and help get rid of toxins from the body. They are also responsible for increasing the body’s production of collagen. By boosting collagen levels, pomegranates help slow down the aging process.
  4. Avocados: This green fruit can be both eaten and applied on the face to benefit from it. It is a rich source of biotin that helps prevent brittle nails and hair and keeps skin well moisturized. When applied as a face mask, avocados can also hydrate parched skin.
  5. Green tea: Green tea is rich in polyphenols that help eradicate free radicals from the body and slow down the aging process. It’s anti-oxidant properties also keep skin elastic and prevent sagging, fine lines, wrinkles and heal the damage caused by sunspots.
  6. Tomatoes: Tomatoes are rich in lycopene and are considered to be a high carotenoid fruit which helps prevents sunburn and relieves the damage caused by excessive exposure to the sun. Tomatoes can also slow down the cellular damage caused by free radicals.
  7. Salmon: Salmon is packed with Omega-3 fatty acids that help fight stress and the effects of stress. The astaxanthin present in salmon improves the elasticity of skin thus keeping it firm and preventing fine lines and wrinkles.
  8. Walnuts: For vegetarians, walnuts are an excellent alternative to salmon. They are rich in omega 3 fatty acids that helps keep the skin looking youthful and add shine to your hair.
  9. Water: Hydrating the skin from inside and outside is essential. Water helps the skin maintain its tautness and elasticity and prevents drying and premature signs of aging. Water also helps transport essential nutrients to the skin. Apart from drinking water it is also beneficial to eat foods with a high water content such as cucumbers and watermelon to benefit from the hydrating properties of water.
  10. Oysters: Oysters are rich in zinc that helps regulate oil production in the skin. In turn this makes the skin less prone to acne breakouts and other such skin irregularities.

10 Vitamins & Minerals That You Must Eat Everyday!

Talk about nutrition and carbs, proteins and fats come to the mind immediately. However, these are the macronutrients and are not the only group of nutrients. More important are the micronutrients, comprising of a group of very important substances known as minerals and vitamins. Read on to know the most important vitamins and minerals that your body needs and the role they play.

  1. Vitamin A: Essential for healthy eyes, general growth and development and glowing skin. These are found in carrots, sweet potatoes and oranges.
  2. Vitamin B: These are essential for iron absorption, improved immunity and production of energy. Whole grains and unprocessed foods and vegetables like lentils, potatoes, bananas, yeast and molasses are good sources of these vitamins.
  3. Vitamin C: Required for iron absorption, blood clotting, elastic skin and antioxidant function. Found in good amounts in citrus fruits, guava, kiwi, grapefruits, strawberries, etc.
  4. Vitamin D: Extremely important for bone development, these are found in eggs, mushrooms and fish.
  5. Vitamin E: It improves the blood circulation and reduces free radicals, which is essential for cancer protection. Almonds, nuts, tomatoes and sunflower seeds are good sources of vitamin E.
  6. Vitamin K: It is very essential for the process of blood coagulation, these are found in spinach, broccoli, kale and other green vegetables.
  7. Iron: Very essential ingredient for blood formation and muscle building, clams, oysters, soybeans, lentils and spinach are great sources of iron.
  8. Calcium: Most important ingredient, as it helps in the formation of teeth and bones, dairy products, tofu and cheese are very good sources.
  9. Zinc: A key ingredient essential for overall growth, immunity and fertility, spinach, beans, oysters and dark chocolate carry a good amount of Zinc.
  10. Folic acid: Essential for iron absorption, cell regeneration, and in pregnancy for healthy development of the baby. Green leafy vegetables, asparagus, peas, seeds, nuts, lentils, beets, corn, etc. are good sources.

Trace minerals like iodine, manganese, copper, fluoride, selenium and chromium are also essential but in very small amounts. While these are not the only essential vitamins and minerals, these are the most important ones. The quantities of these substances required on a daily basis are very small, but critical for functions listed above. In addition, some of them also help in releasing free radicals, which provides protection against cancer and chronic inflammation. This helps prevent chronic health conditions like heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

An important point to consider is while there are multiple supplements available in the market today to make sure you get all of these nutrients, try to eat a wholesome meal and get these through natural sources to the maximum extent possible. The natural foods are the best source, and supplements should be used only when these cannot be obtained naturally.

Pregnant? Diet Regimen You Must Follow!

It is important to have a healthy diet and proper nutrition for women while pregnant in order to keep themselves and their unborn baby healthy. Prenatal nutrition focuses upon the nutrition of the mother before and during pregnancy. It affects the birth weight and development of the infants. The foods that pregnant women need during their pregnancy for themselves and their child’s health are as follows

  1. They should have oranges and its juice as much as possible. It is rich in Vitamin C and folic acid. It also contains potassium which lowers one’s blood pressure, which might be one of the key concerns during pregnancy. Foods containing folic acid should be taken right before conception and in the early weeks of pregnancy to avoid the birth defects of the baby in its brain and spinal cord. Other sources of folic acid include green leafy vegetables, beans, peanuts, asparagus, peas and other enriched grain products.
  2. Having yogurt helps pregnant women. It contains protein and more calcium than milk. It also serves to reduce the risk of having yeast infections.
  3. Broccoli is also a good source of calcium (for healthy bone) and is rich in vitamin C, foliate and Vitamin B6.
  4. Beans and lentils are rich in iron (for healthy blood) and proteins are highly needed for the health of both the pregnant woman and her off-spring.
  5. Figs, whether fresh or dried up, contains more fiber than other vegetables along with plenty of potassium, calcium and iron.
  6. A healthy diet plan for a pregnant for the well-being of both herself and her unborn baby per day is as follows-
    • 6 to 11 servings of grains.
    • 3 to 5 servings of diet rich in vegetables.
    • 2 to 4 servings of diet with fruits.
    • 4 to 6 servings of diet containing milk.
    • 3 to 4 servings of meat and foods containing proteins.
    • 6 to 8 glasses of water, fruit juice and milk.
    • Limiting the consumption of fatty foods and sweets.

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

What is the Right Diet for a Sports Person?

A person, in order to be a successful sportsman or sportswoman needs to take a good care of his or her diet plans on a daily basis. They need more energy, proteins, vitamins, calories, minerals, carbohydrates and fats than other people, who are not involved in sports. Also, the requirement of energy varies in different sportsperson.

On an average, a sportsman below 30 years of age needs 3000 Kilo calories of food whereas those beyond 30 years need 2800-3000 Kilo calories of food daily.

The different requirements in the diets of a sportsman are explained as follows:

This is because proteins might result in constipation in the body the effect of which is nullified by the supply of adequate amount of water.

My age is 29 ...
You need to consult a good doctor, as these are the signs of liver cirrhosis. You can take raw papaya and ripe papaya daily as it improves liver function and it is very effective. Take whey water daily as it is also very effective and cure liver. Whey water can be made at home by adding 2-3 drops of lemon in milk while heating. This will separate milk solid and water, drink that water. Take bland diet, take homemade veg soup. Avoid onion, apple as it contains ammonia.

Follow a Healthy Diet Always - For a Healthy Life

A healthy diet is one which will improve not just your physical health, but your mental health as well. It is essentially concerned with healthy nutrients and essential amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. A healthy diet can be obtained by consuming the correct proportion of vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.

The following section focuses upon how to have healthy and controlled diet in and out of home for yourself and your family!
1. Tips for your family

  • Have the food as slowly as possible.
  • Have small quantities of food at one time.

2. At home

  • Eat on small plates to control having extra quantities of food.
  • While doing the monthly shopping of groceries, buy the food in small containers to make yourself aware of how much you are consuming.
  • Try to have meat, poultry and seafood with herbs and spices instead of sauces or gravies.

3. Outside home

  • While having food at restaurant, have lighter version of the food. Foods rich in gravies and spices can adversely affect your health.
  • Experience mindfully the experience of tasting the delicious food. This is good both for your physical as well as mental health.
  • Avoid having desserts immediately after food if possible.
  • Try to have healthier foods like fresh fruits, sorbets, whole grains and other lighter versions of your choice of foods. Carefully notice the amount of food you are consuming no matter whatever you eat!
  • Try to start your meal with broth-based soup or green salad. Order a healthier version of the food first and foremost in order to avoid being influenced by the choices of others who are having the meal with you.

4. Tips solely focused on and for your family

  • Be a role model for your child by showing how to have smaller and required portions of the food, especially those with high calories.
  • Teach them by offering healthy foods and letting them to choose the amount they want to eat.
  • Encourage them to have plain water when thirsty. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.
