An antibiotic drug, Bacticef syrup is a part of the class of medicines called cephalosporin. This broad spectrum antibiotic cures a wide variety of infections that are caused by bacteria. In this way, by destroying bacteria and inhibiting the reproduction of bacterial cells, the antibiotic is effective in eliminating bacterial infections.
This medication is also available in tablet form and liquid suspension. It can be taken orally. It is possible to overdose on this medication. The risk of side effects increases if you take this medication while suffering from conditions like liver disorders, kidney problems, heart conditions, allergies, gastrointestinal diseases, phenylketonuria and diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile.
